Often during summer internships or in early career entry level positions, young professionals bring new ideas to companies but often lack understanding to achieving success in the workplace. They are well educated from university, but lack the day to day know-how. College teaches accounting, statistics, and other fundamental skills such as writing and presenting. Rarely is “how-to-negotiate-a-raise” or “where-to-push-back-on-a-job-offer” found on a syllabus. Furthermore, there is no course to teach the individual how they fit into a company’s objectives. After mentoring interns over the last thirteen years, I understand the desire to achieve as a young professional as well as the demands on an employee with an already full workload. I provide young professionals essential skill training for success in the workplace to yield valuable benefits to both the professional and the employer. Over the years, I’ve been compiling hours of concise and effective materials targeted to bridge the gap between university teaching and employer’s needs. During a ten week training period, young professionals learn and practice the tools to return value to the hiring company. In turn, the employer gains a developing youth who understands how to applies the learnings directly to their specific intern project or role. The training materials I provide are applicable to any professional setting across industries to effectively deliver value to both employees and young professionals.

Summer 2022 cohort

Beginning in the Summer of 2022, a young professional cohort will meet and will be provided systematically the tools they need to ensure success in the work place. Individuals as well as corporations sponsoring young professionals or interns are welcome to participate.

  • Ten week program
  • Weekly trainings provided one day during the lunch hour (60 minutes)
  • Essential Skills for Success workbook
  • Individual presentation preparation session (60 minutes)

Upon joining the cohort, the young professional will be systematically lead through foundations of business basics, professional skills, and applicable tools to deliver value to the employer so they can land the next position they are seeking. Each week, the cohort will meet for one hour to work though the essential skills for success course material during lunch. The sessions will be recorded for viewing on-demand during the week following should conflicts arise. Participants will be provided with the Essential Skills for Success workbook to ingrain the lessons. Towards the end of the summer, an hour long session for interested individuals to improve their exit presentations will be offered.

As with any investment, a favorable return is expected. For the employer, they realize time savings during the implementation of the training material. Also, the employer will see the transformation the young professional will make during the summer cohort as they improve their essential skills necessary to add value to the company. The young professional or intern will evolve his or her confidence through the course material while developing essential skills for success. Pricing

Helping young professionals fully realize and act on their potential is a personal passion of mine. The pricing for the 2022 Cohort is based on the value of the concise ten week course which consolidates thirteen years of young professional training and offers custom 1:1 professional coaching or extended course replay viewing, depending on the package. The Essential Elements for Success course comes with a workbook including reflection and applicable exercises for each of the lessons. Additional goal sheets, personal branding aids, presentation practice, and company specific information is available. Individual modules can be purchased for 24 hour replay for $68.95 each.

Employer packages includes all of the young professional coursework and workbook. An employer specific guide on onboarding, mid-program, and close out guides is included in Tier I pricing. Three hours of 1:1 professional coaching are included as well.

Additional options

To request a payment plan for students, recent graduates, parents of students, or Young Pipeline Professional (YPP) members, complete this form. Payment plans are only offered on the Executive Package or the Senior Package to be paid in four (4) payments of $480 or $240, respectively.

Employers may request bulk course purchase discounts for multiple seats as well.
