[Houston, TX]—April 16, 2021—Time For Change, LLC., a business specializing in engineering consulting services, is proud to announce national certifications as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) and Women’s Owned Small Business (WOSB) by the Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance of Texas, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
Mrs. Cassandra K. Moody, P.E., president and founder of Time For Change, LLC. stated she “is excited to have the formal backing of the WBENC and network of companies supporting the value of female founded and owned businesses.” Mrs. Moody believes platforms such as the WOSB and WBE certifications on the national level, as well as the State based Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) and City of Houston WBE certifications, “pave the way for future female entrepreneurs to achieve success and reduce barriers to doing business.”
The WBENC standard of certification implemented by the Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance of Texas, is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or women.
By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.
